Registrations & lawns open at 7am; official start time is 7:30am for an 8:00am hit off.

This is a doubles event with partners allocated on a high-handicap/low-handicap basis. The draw process is supervised by the Event Coordinators. Players are advised of their partners upon arrival. Doubles partners are divided into Block A and Block B.

This is a social day.

Participants must be registered with the ACA or equivalent body. Handicaps are required in order to allocate partners, but games results are not recorded on handicap cards, and results have no impact on individual handicaps. At the conclusion of each game, participants will enter their scores on a central running sheet, which is to be checked and signed by a member of each team.

There are prizes for the winners and runners-up in each Block. Each doubles team plays 7 games in the gala competition. There is no finals playoff between the winners of Block A and the winners of Block B.
